Elahe Rahimian is a PhD candidate in expressive art therapy. She is the first Iranian who has been registered as an Expressive Arts Therapist (REAT). She is the Middle East Regional Co-Coordinator of the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association (IEATA) and the Ambassador of the Creative Wellness Service Initiative (CWSI). Elahe holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in Art. Additionally, she has a certificate in painting and design from Italy. With over 20 exhibitions in other countries, her art experience demonstrates her ability to express herself through art. Elahe has also published two books and several articles about the effects of art therapy in treatment. Since 2011, she has been professionally active as an Expressive Arts Therapist, educator, and organizer of art therapy courses and one of her main goals is expanding express art therapy in the Middle East.
She founded the Abana Expressive Arts Therapy Center in Iran. Abana is a professional center that conducts workshops, and research and collaborates with international organizations.
In 2023, Elahe collaborated with Dr. Marcus to hold workshops in Iran for the first time. It allowed enthusiasts to benefit from valuable experiences and teachings in the field. Elahe's experience with many charities demonstrates her dedication to humanity. She has volunteered with people with autism, children with cancer, Afghan refugee students, and handicapped individuals. She has also held many art exhibitions to showcase their activities​​​​​​​
